The elastowool bandage is intended for fixation of wound dressings on moving body parts or joints. It is very elastic and flexible, as it is made of viscose and polyamide. Its natural fibres make the bandage skin-friendly and comfortable for the patient, while allowing safe sterilisation in autoclaves. The bandage has a set-in weave structure that helps prevent slippage and it has minimal impact on the patient's flexibility, so it does not cause constrictions or overloads.
