Sterile product Ointment compress, without antibiotics, vaseline, paraffin and lanolin. Content: Hydrophobic polyester fabric impregnated with an ointment without active substances. The ointment contains: fatty acids (triglycerides) and coconut oil. Properties: The thin, soft fabric has a smooth surface structure that prevents tissue shoots from growing into the dressing, thus counteracting the tendency of the dressing to stick to the wound. The ointment impregnation also prevents adhesion to the wound and allows for gentle dressing changes. No ointment residue remains in the wound, making it easier to clean and assess the wound. Atrauman keeps the wound surface and edges smooth and protects the wound from drying out, thus preventing disruptive scar contractures.
