Mepilex Up is a highly conformable foam dressing that absorbs both low and high viscosity wound fluids, maintains a moist wound environment and minimises the risk of maceration. The soft silicone layer (Safetac®) does not adhere to the moist wound area, but gently adheres to the dry skin around the wound. It protects the wound and skin, minimising pain for the patient and tissue damage to the wound and surrounding skin during dressing changes.
