The separate media shredder with collection container shreds CDs/DVDs, credit and loyalty cards, and floppy discs into very small particles (2x2 mm) with ease. The shredded material can then be recycled. The innovative IntelligentDrive motor and manoeuvring concept provides up to 40% more power. One of the three operating modes can be selected: Silent for particularly quiet operation, Standard for optimum volume flow and low noise, and Performance for maximum cutting and volume flow. Intuitive operation with multi-language menu control is via the high-resolution 4.3" touchscreen. It displays relevant information such as operating mode and status messages. Stand-by mode and automatic switch-off reduce energy consumption when the shredder is not in use. Via intelligent paper jam avoidance, the system automatically detects early if too much paper has been fed in.
