Scoliometer OSI Mizuho
Product Details
The scoliometer measures the difference in height between the shoulder blades in the flexed position. This measurement can be translated into an approximate scoliosis score.
To detect scoliosis, the following steps are used:
- Adams Forward Bend Test: The child leans forward, hanging with arms in the air, with feet together and knees straight ahead.
- The scoliometer is then used on the back to measure the angle in three levels.
- This measurement is recorded as the angle of trunk rotation (ATR).
