Scotch® Basic Masking Tape is a beige masking tape designed for non-marred surfaces. The tape is easy to tear off by hand and leaves no adhesive residue if removed within 1 day after application.

Tip for Applying the Tape:

• For best results in painting, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and dust-free for proper adhesion.
• Apply the tape by pressing it down hard while pulling it.
• Leave the tape on for 30-60 minutes before you start painting.

Tip for Removing the Tape:

• Wait until the paint feels dry to the touch before removing the tape.
• Slowly lift the tape and pull it towards you.
• Remove it at a 45° angle.
