Cavilon Durable Skin Protection is a concentrated, long-lasting barrier cream that protects the skin from body fluids. The barrier cream has moisture-retaining properties and forms a protective barrier, making it ideal for diarrhoea or incontinence. The concentrated form of the cream means that less cream is needed for fewer applications. It also resists up to three washes. The skin barrier cream can be used on both intact and damaged skin. The barrier cream delays water evaporation and protects without compromising the absorbency of incontinence products or the adhesion of dressings and tapes. The barrier cream also protects the skin from infectious agents while keeping the skin soft, smooth and elastic. The skin-protecting barrier allows the skin to breathe and maintains a normal balance. Using Cavilon barrier cream allows for the reduction of incontinence-related dermatitis (IAD). Thanks to the special composition of Cavilon Durable containing polymers and dimethicone, the barrier cream cares for the skin, increases moisturisation and provides improved skin protection. The skin barrier cream forms a long-lasting protection and prevents skin damage in both incontinence and diarrhoea. It also provides a barrier for chapped and cracked skin. Cavilon Durable is paraben-free and fragrance-free. Clean and dry the skin before applying Cavilon Durable and then apply a small amount to the area. Repeat every two days or after every third skin cleansing.
