WoodSafe's needle cans and hazardous waste bins are produced in Sweden from biocomposite from StoraEnso. The material consists of 40% sawdust and the rest recycled plastic. The result is a 52% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to current yellow cans. Hazardous waste containers are the third largest consumer of plastic in healthcare after plastic gloves and disposable aprons. Approved according to UN 3291 for infectious and sharps waste - Volume: 2 litres
