Since 1902, the Swedish people have been playing cards with Öberg's playing cards - the cards with the right figures!

The 'classic' Swedish playing cards were designed after a German model for J.O. Öberg & Son. The company initially produced office books but eventually expanded its range to include playing cards.

• In 1903, poker cards with a joker were introduced.
• By 1905, Öberg was dominating the playing card market in the country thanks to their high quality.
• After World War II, Öberg became Sweden's only playing card manufacturer.

Over the years, the playing cards have been carefully modernized to ultimately achieve today's highly appreciated and beloved appearance:
