Disinfectant Virkon 50x5g/pack

A world-patented disinfectant that kills bacteria, viruses and fungi. Virkon (Virus Control) takes its name from its well-documented efficacy against all virus families and is used today in almost all hospitals. Virkon is a compound product that, when activated with water, forms several disinfectant substances, the most important being hypochlorous acid. Virkon also contains a fat-dissolving surfactant, which means that cleaning is not normally required before disinfection. Despite its well-documented effect, Virkon is not hazardous to health but should be used with respect just like other chemicals. Virkon is well adapted to the environment for its purpose. The components are present in very low concentrations and are easily broken down. Virkon is an acidic agent, which means that some types of metal such as copper, brass, iron and aluminium cannot withstand contact for more than a few minutes, otherwise most materials tolerate Virkon well. Place one tablet (5g) in the Virkon mixing bottle. Add 0.5 litres of warm water (approx. 30°C) and wait for about 5 minutes. The application solution is ready to use when it is pink in colour. Moisten and work the surface with a mop or cloth, making sure the surface is clean. Leave the surface to dry (10 minutes) and, if necessary, wipe with a cloth moistened with water.
