Bit:Bot XL fully integrated robot for BBC Micro:Bit. We have made several changes to provide an improved experience of using and working with BitBot. Latest features and updates: It is about 10% longer and wider and with bigger wheels. The motor gearbox is now fully covered to minimise dirt in the gears and the Microbit is now mounted vertically. The line sensors no longer share pins with the Microbit buttons which removes all the problems of Bluetooth pairing and allows the use of buttons in your coding. The Makecode extension has been changed so that the code is compatible with both Classic and XL versions and the Piezo speaker is now connected to pin 0 so you can play music through it. The features that come with the Classic BitBot: 2 micromotors with metal gears. Both can be fully controlled by software, both for speed (0-100%) and direction (forwards or backwards). Wheels with rubber tyres for best grip. Real soft-rolling steel ball in the front (replaces front wheel). 12 mini neopixel panels, in 2 sets of 6 along the arms on each side. 2 digital sensors for line reading. Programme your own line-following robots and compete with them to see whose programme gives the fastest lap time! 2 analogue light sensors (front left and right) so your Bit:Bot XL can be programmed to follow a light source, such as a flashlight, or to hide in the darkest corner it can find.
