Colour-changing sand and water table designed for multiple practical functions. The deep exploration area is perfect for open-ended tactile explorations of materials and their properties, with the added visual sensory element of light and colour. Ideal for both individual focused activities and collaborative play. The robust but lightweight unit is both beautiful and practical: easy to move, with a slim profile that allows it to fit through standard doors even with liquid inside, and quick to clean. The sides and bottom of the internal well have been carefully designed to make it easier to cover the bottom with just a small amount of liquid or other materials if required. The LED unit has been optimised so that the light flows evenly over the entire area of the internal well, emitting a soft clean glow that changes colour using the remote control. The overall height of the unit allows younger children to easily reach the bottom of the exploration area, enabling them to engage in messy play: using their hands to explore a variety of liquid or solid materials such as sand, craft clay, play dough, flour, jelly, foam, dried pasta or rice. All tickit® Sensory Mood Lights have an A+ energy rating and are water resistant with an IP65 rating. They include a universal power adapter (UK/EU/US/AU compatible) with low voltage mains adapter.
